Anxiously waiting for "the words" approved!

Once again I am gripped by the anxiety of waiting. Please pray that our immigration case worker has a totally wonderful relaxing Looong weekend. Because when she comes into the office on Tuesday, there sitting on her desk will be the last few papers she has asked me for. Zip Zally done. That's it. She either makes or breaks us at this point. Maybe if she has a great weekend she will find herself in an inexplicably good mood, and type that little 171h right up and mail it to us. I cannot believe how far we have come and how little faith I still manage to fall short with. I know GOD can do it, I am not quite certain that the officer in charge listens with the same set of ears or even the same heart. So that's the request....thanks ladies and gents for being a part of this. It is so much more than a little blog about children in need. The need is larger than you can ever know...
Cathy, wanting to get Marina really really soon...

Thanks for checking on me, as I said before, maybe this is really the week. Nothing else to gather!Please...let there be nothing else to gather...!!!

  1. Thinking of you and hoping you get over there SOON! I can't believe all you have been through with this, you deserve the rest of the adoption to be a BREEZE.
    Fingers crossed for you!

  3. Pleading with the Father on your and Marina's behalf. Cathy, I have to admit, we've been through a lot and God always brings us through. He has shown us miracles nearly daily in fact they ARE daily. Provision during times we literally had no money (recession doubled our mortgage) and wondered how we were going to feed our little one and it has been an amazing journey. Once someone nearby was sent a double order of organic fruit and veg from a home delivery service and they casually asked us since they knew we fed Eden only organic food if we'd like to have it. We literally had no food other than some chicken for her and didn't get paid until the next Monday. Well, she had fresh WONDERFUL food that entire weekend and longer even! God is so good, His love endures forever!

I am telling you this for a different reason than you are probably thinking lol. I'm telling you this because despite all He's done for us, I STILL fear and worry when situations arise. You'd think I would just KNOW and expect Him to take care of Eden since He loves her so and us too! But I am all too often repenting of my lack of faith and praising Him for being good to us despite it!

So I guess I just wanted to encourage you to one, not feel badly for struggling with faith. You certainly are not alone in that lol! But also that God loves you and your family and he loves Marina and I am so hopeful and praying for your faith through this all. And for Marina to be home in your loving arms SOON!

    Blessings to you, dear one!
